Loneliness is Just a Lover

"Loneliness" has a way of impacting everything around it... (or everything not around it, rather). It has a way of sucking the life out of an already empty soul and looming over the victim of its last meal.
Even in a crowded room, you can sometimes still feel the touch that haunts your bones from when it was just the two of you that filled the same space.. sitting, standing, or just lying there alone. She caresses gently, yet embraces violently. Without a single word, she's the only one left to crowd your thoughts. Loneliness is a friend to depression, cousin to solitude, and the widow to Love.. but hopefully we break up before I'm broken again.
