Day 4: Two Points of View

[[This piece is a morph of two pieces. Each color is a single piece. Try reading them separately then together!]]

Sometimes I imagine that stars are

I want to be a star to the left of all the noticeable ones,

I want to be a star in the new universe

and I want to fall in love with one light years away.

Becoming one after living the tragedies of personhood-

And I want to love them for a century or two before, oneday, someone will be sitting, lonely,

I'll find relief in creating false memories from thoughts of my heartbreaks.. from thoughts of my unforced smiles

and they will take the time to look up at the sky and imagine that two stars could love each other...

I'll glorify the ones I loved.. forgetting the reality in disappointments, arguments, and imperfections

Pictures of their faces will be a blur,

And on that day our love will continue to grow and our distance will become lesser..

Trying to remember every part of them, I wish I could see their frowns too..

But my desire to hold on and my inability to hold much fight each other as I only remember the outlines of their smiles..

& in another few centuries we'll collide, and our love will magically destroy and rebuild the entire universe.

I'll reminisce, and repeat their names even until I forget who I was

Motif?

This blog is mine. Simple and obvious, yet necessary to say. This is a collection of my poetry, opinions, and interpretations of different topics. I post what I feel, whether it be fun and light-hearted, or serious and important. I ask that any feedback remain positive, but again.. that is your choice of expression. Enjoy what you read, and hopefully you all make the most of what I have to offer.
