Day 9: About Memories from Photographs

At one time,
I used to see the dimensions of your reactions.
Your lips would … dance as they released their hold on the laughter that your belly could no longer contain.
But your pains were felt seismically..
Shaking the compassion
Of those who couldn't even recognize such a new feeling.
Your jubilance used to make hearts smile .
But your fury could collapse dreams-
At one time,
you created memories alongside me.
And in each of those moments I was only hoping to always just be worth the memory.
I truly miss when I didn't have to remember you.
And You never had to be remembered because you were always within reach.
You helped me to hold onto forever.
And Always only a moment away,
I could feel you within a second-
At one time,
My future was painted with visions of what I was hoping my memories to oneday look like
You taught me to float
in the light of every breath.
This was your way of giving me eyes
unblinded by irrational passion.
My love for you didn't make sense.
And I didn't need it to.
You were everything you were supposed to be,
And you still had more.
I'm trying to recreate moments from our memories that I can salvage from lost photographs.
