Day 12: "Stop and smell the roses"

Sit still and close your eyes.
Take deep breaths as you begin to feel your presence.
Open your mind's bounds and
Put aside the weights of your world.
Admire the awareness in your fingertips.
"Need" doesn't exist in this space so
Don't consume yourself by such human things.
Sense what you "want" to experience and
Make this the only thought in the back of your mind.
Elevate your heart through each breath.
Listen to the stillness surrounding you, then
Let this help you to catch the rhythm of each heartbeat.
Tell yourself nothing.
Hear only the echo of these words as they lull you into comfort, and
Eventually, feel the infinite space that is cocooning you.
Roll your head in slow circles with
Only movements full of consciousness.
Sink into being lost in your own space
Even if others are around.
Slowly open your eyes and feel yourself differently in this moment.
